Helping Survivors Find Their Voice

Mike LentMike Lent: Volunteer for the National Sexual Assault Online Hotline

"I am currently studying psychology, and hope to become a clinical psychologist one day. After learning about the effect that trauma can have on a person, I wanted to start helping people right away and not have to wait until I'm finished with my schooling. RAINN's Online Hotline gives people a chance to seek help and information completely anonymously – that's less scary for many people, and therefore, we wind up able to help more people sooner. I'm glad that I can be a part of this system."
