1in6 Partners with RAINN to Create New Online Hotline1in6, a nonprofit organization that provides information and resources to adult male survivors of childhood sexual abuse, has partnered with RAINN to create the 1in6 Online Hotline. RAINN created a special version of its award-winning National Sexual Assault Online Hotline for 1in6, accessible through the 1in6 website, and will staff and operate the hotline for 1in6. After learning about the effect that trauma can have on a person, I wanted to start helping people right away and not have to wait until I'm finished with my schooling. RAINN's Online Hotline gives people a chance to seek help and information completely anonymously – that's less scary for many people, and therefore, we wind up able to help more people sooner.
